Saphira Diamonds is a Melbourne based company, with international presence that provides a truly unique and fully-personalised experience when buying diamond jewellery. Our philosophy is to educate, empower and support our clients in curating their unique vision. Our aim is to fully educate our clients about diamond properties, enable them to choose their own specifications unique to their budget and ensure that they are equipped with the knowledge to make an informed decision when purchasing such precious stones. We create unique, custom-designed pieces that are hand-forged by expert craftsmen here in Melbourne, Australia according to each client’s vision, and offer exceptional GIA (Gemological Institute of America) certified diamonds, direct to the public as part of this unique and personalised service.
Our Craftsmanship
All of our pieces are custom-made to order and are manufactured to the highest standards of jewellery making. We use legacy techniques to create one-of-a-kind pieces designed to last the test of time in quality, design and style.
All of our pieces are manufactured in-house in our Melbourne workshop. With meticulous attention to detail and design, paired with a lifetime manufacturing guarantee and complementary servicing, you can wear your beautiful new piece with pride and confidence.
Our Diamonds
We are proud to offer the finest quality GIA (Gemological Institute of America) certified diamonds directly to the public. All of the diamonds that we select undergo the most stringent of checks, cross-checking not only the certification, but also high-resolution magnified videos in order to reveal true cut quality and gemological quality.
As all of our diamonds are hand-selected and ordered to each client’s specifications, this means that we do not have a suite of diamonds ‘in-stock’ to select from. We believe that each of our clients deserve to have access to a variety of options, in order to find the right diamond to suit their individual needs. Our relationships with our trusted diamond cutters mean that access to the entire international diamond market is at our fingertips, allowing us to choose only the best stones on the market, and present them as options to our clients. While we provide high-resolution videos of the diamond prior to your selection, we also allow our clients to view their selection in-person at the office to ensure complete satisfaction prior to the setting process.
Ethics and Sustainability
All of our diamonds are 100% natural, and Earth-mined, from ethical and sustainable sources from select mine sites and respected suppliers, internationally. Our company is closely linked to the upstream mining industry, with our founder, Dr. Adriana Traviati, visiting mine sites internationally, paired with an excellent understanding of diamond origins and ethical sourcing practices.
Our trusted diamond cutters, with whom we have built exclusive relationships with over the years, source their diamonds from mines that strictly adhere to the UN’s Kimberley Process (KP), and are in compliance with the requirements of the System of Warranties from the mine site, manufacturing process to final sale. We proudly support sustainable and ethical mining practices worldwide, as well as the local communities that benefit from responsible diamond mining.
